I can see that I haven't been updating this for a while.  My Minolta is now my very old camera, I've been using a Canon Powershot S3 for a few years now. I've also recently started painting again, after many many years of not.  I still make jewellery, and paper things, and these days I even sew too - I quilt, and make pencil rolls, and I sell on Etsy.

I suppose people might have noticed that I've actually had it for a while.  I just never think of updating this journal bit. I got a Konica Minolta Dimage Z20, and I love it.  All the blurbs go on about how it's the most economical for battery use - they're not kidding!  I can have batteries last over two weeks!  I was lucky to get a day out of a battery with my Nikon!  I'm thinking the three battery sets I have is overkill!  Two would be tons!  And as for the car charger I bought - unless we go touring for a month or something, which is most unlikely at the moment, I can't see me ever needing to use it.

I have no money for a new one, and to repair it will cost as much as a new camera.  I'm saving madly, but until, no new photos.  only old ones. glad I got lotsa old ones!
